SKY NATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

In these Terms and Conditions, references to "we", "our" and "us" are to Sky Network Television Limited.

Participation in our research, surveys and community activities signals your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions, please do not sign up to be a member of our Sky Nation community or agree to be contacted by us to participate in any research activity.

We reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions by providing 30 days’ notice on our website. You should check these Terms and Conditions regularly for notice of any changes. 

MEMBERSHIP

By signing up to be a member of our Sky Nation community, you warrant that:

·        At the time of sign up, you have provided accurate and current personal information;

·        You will only undertake surveys that are sent to you and are in your own name;

·        You will not forward any emails or survey links you receive to any third party unless invited to do so by us at the time the email or link is sent to you;

·        You will not respond to a survey more than once; and

·        You are aged 16 or over or, if you are under 16, you have the permission of your parents or guardian to be a member of any panel and to participate in surveys; and

·        You are not a competitor of us, signing up for the purpose of understanding our activity for competitive advantage.

You acknowledge and accept that:

·        We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership to any of our panels or client panels without warning at any time for any reason;

·        If we suspend or cancel your membership your entries into any undrawn prize draws or incentives will be immediately void; and

·        If you cancel your membership, any entries you have to undrawn prize draws or incentives are void.

PRIVACY

We collect and treat all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. More details about when we collect personal information, what we collect, and what we do with it, can be found in our Privacy Policy. 

PRIZES AND REWARDS

We may, from time to time, offer participants the chance to win prizes and/or the opportunity to redeem rewards on such terms and conditions as specified.

General Terms and Conditions That Apply to Prize Draws

·        All prize draws will take place within one month of the close of the activity or other stated prize period and the winner(s) will be notified using the email address in their membership records or if requested in the survey activity which they participated in.

·        Prizes are for New Zealand residents only.

·        If indicated, winners have two weeks to respond to the email to confirm that they wish to accept the prize and to provide their delivery details. If a winner does not respond within two weeks of the email, their prize is automatically forfeited and a second prize winner will be drawn. The same rule applies for any second or subsequent winner drawn.

·        We will not enter into any dialogue with anyone who has not responded within two weeks, no matter what the reason for any delay, including but not limited to if the person’s email is not working, has changed or if they are not clearing their email for some reason etc.

·        Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

·        The prizes and any additional terms and conditions relevant to that particular activity or prize are as stated in the activity invitation emails and cannot be exchanged for cash.

·        We are not liable for any costs, expenses or liability incurred by the prize winner with respect to the prize.

·        Completion of any activity for which a prize is offered is acceptance of these terms and conditions.

·        We reserve the right to alter the structure of prize rewards at any time.

OTHER INCENTIVES OR VOUCHERS

Instead of prize draws, we may also offer you, in exchange for participation in some of our activities, the ability to earn vouchers or other incentives like cash. Incentives are for New Zealand residents only.

·        All recipients will be notified within one month of the close of the activity or other stated incentive period using the email address in their membership records.

·        The incentive that you earn from any activity and any specific terms relating to this incentive will be stated in the activity invitation email. When you complete this survey or project within the stipulated timeframe, the incentive will be awarded to you.

·        If indicated, recipients have two weeks to respond to the email to confirm that they wish to accept the incentive and to provide their delivery / payment details. If a recipient does not respond within two weeks of the email, their incentive is automatically forfeited.

·        We will not enter into any dialogue with anyone who has not responded within two weeks, no matter what the reason for any delay, including but not limited to if the person’s email is not working, has changed or if they are not clearing their email for some reason etc.

·        Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

·        Any incentives that need to be paid to you will be done within 28 days of the end of the activity. Any payments of cash will be done either in person, if you attend the research face-to-face with us, or by direct debit to your bank account or other account like Paypal as agreed in the incentive terms.

·        Incentives cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Vouchers may have an expiry date as set by the voucher retailer.

·        We are not liable for any costs, expenses or liability incurred by the recipient with respect to the incentive.

·        Completion of any activity for which an incentive is offered is acceptance of these terms and conditions.

·        We reserve the right to alter the structure of incentive rewards at any time.
